To mark the 1,050th anniversary of Luxembourg City, in 2013 the association Lëtzebuerger Rousefrënn gave the gift of a new rose to the capital, formerly known as ‘Ville des Roses’ (City of Roses).

‘Bonjour Luxembourg’ is a shrub with supple growth and abundant flowering. The little buds open out into full double rosettes showing shades of fuchsia pink. The shade softens as the flowers open out. This rose resists the cold well and can be trained on wire netting.
